The 10 Best Yoga Studios in Canggu (2026, tested)

How we choose: we took a class at the studios on this list, cross-checked live Google ratings and review counts, and re-verified drop-in prices this season. Studios cannot buy a spot - the order is editorial. The one network partner here is labeled, and our own stretching studio is deliberately not in this ranking at all.

The Practice

Editor's pick
4.5 (406 reviews)Batu BolongDrop-in 150k IDR

The bamboo shala that set the tone for yoga in Canggu. Traditional hatha and tantric classes with genuinely experienced teachers, in a serene garden a short walk from Batu Bolong beach. It is our editor's pick for depth of teaching and atmosphere - even though, in full honesty, Adda below scores higher on Google. Rating is one signal; a decade of serious practice in the room is another.

Deepest traditional lineage and teaching in Canggu Beautiful bamboo shala, calm garden setting Popular classes fill fast - arrive 20 minutes early Traditional pace may feel slow for a workout crowd

Adda Yoga

4.9 (937 reviews)Central CangguDrop-in н/д

The highest-rated yoga studio in Canggu by a wide margin, and it earns it. A light-filled bamboo-and-glass room on the top floor looks out over the village, the schedule is varied, and readers consistently single out the teachers. If we ranked purely on Google score this would be number one - it sits at two on teaching tradition alone.

Best-rated studio in town: 4.9 across 900+ reviews Bright, scenic bamboo studio with village views Central location means parking and crowds Drop-in price not published online - confirm on booking

Samadi Bali

4.2Padang Linjong (near Echo Beach)Drop-in ~140k IDR

More than a studio - a small wellness compound with two shalas, a vegan cafe, a Sunday market and a strong Ashtanga tradition. The community here runs deep, which is why the mixed reviews (some report a slightly institutional feel) do not tell the whole story. Best if you want to fold yoga into a wider daily routine.

Real community, Ashtanga roots, vegan cafe on site Transparent, mid-range drop-in price Lower Google score than the top studios Compound can feel busy on Sunday market days

The Path Yoga Center

4.8 (340 reviews)PererenanDrop-in н/д

A polished wellness center in quieter Pererenan with a broad daily schedule and its own sauna-and-plunge recovery area next door. Convenient if you want to practice and then cold-plunge without changing venues, and calmer than the Batu Bolong studios.

Strong 4.8 rating, wide class schedule Recovery area on the same campus Drop-in price not published online Pererenan is a scooter ride from the beach strip

Guan Yin Yoga Shala

4.9 (167 reviews)Batu Bolong BeachDrop-in н/д

A small, beloved shala right by Batu Bolong beach with a near-perfect rating from those who find it. Intimate class sizes and attentive teaching are the draw. Fewer reviews than the big names, but the ones it has are glowing.

4.9 rating, intimate and personal teaching Steps from Batu Bolong beach Small space - limited spots per class No official website found; book via Google or Instagram

Surf & Yoga Canggu

Network partner
⭐ rating н/дBatu BolongDrop-in н/д

A traditional shala paired with a real surf program under one roof - daily yoga you can bolt onto a morning in the water. We label it a network partner in plain sight: it is part of The Ten List perk network, which is exactly why we are careful to rank it on merit and not float it to the top. Good pick if you want surf and yoga in one place rather than a pure studio.

Genuine surf-and-yoga combo, not a hotel add-on Traditional shala atmosphere, welcoming to travellers A camp first, so the yoga schedule is narrower than a dedicated studio Google rating not confirmed at time of writing

Joga Yoga

4.9 (301 reviews)Batu BolongDrop-in н/д

A consistently high-rated studio in the Batu Bolong cluster with a loyal local following. Solid teaching, friendly room, easy to slot into a beach-side day. A reliable everyday choice rather than a destination shala.

4.9 rating across 300+ reviews Central Batu Bolong, easy to reach No official website found; book via Google or Instagram Less of a signature setting than the bamboo shalas

Mission Flow Studio

4.9 (189 reviews)PererenanDrop-in н/д

A well-liked Pererenan studio with a strong rating and a movement-forward vibe. Good option for the growing Pererenan crowd who would rather not ride into busy Batu Bolong for a class.

4.9 rating, modern movement-focused classes Convenient for Pererenan residents Fewer reviews than the town's flagships Drop-in price not published online

Serenity Yoga (Serenity Eco Guesthouse)

4.3 (300+ reviews)NelayanDrop-in н/д

An all-in-one eco guesthouse with a busy daily yoga schedule, courteous staff and a big base of returning guests. Handy if you want yoga, accommodation and a healthy cafe on one quiet Nelayan plot, rather than a standalone studio.

Yoga, stay and cafe on one calm plot Large, steady review base Lower rating than the specialist studios Guesthouse feel, not a dedicated shala

⭐ rating н/дTibubenengDrop-in н/д

An open-air studio surrounded by rice fields in Tibubeneng, on the calmer edge of Canggu. Rating and pricing were not confirmed at the time of writing, so we placed it last rather than overstate what we could not verify - but the setting alone makes it worth a look for a peaceful practice.

Open-air, rice-field setting away from the crowds Good for a quiet, scenic practice Google rating and prices not yet verified Further out; you will need a scooter

Frequently asked

How much is a yoga class in Canggu?

Drop-ins run roughly 130-150k IDR in 2026 - The Practice is 150k, Samadi around 140k. Class packs of five or ten bring the per-class price down. Several studios do not publish drop-in rates online, so confirm when you book.

Which area of Canggu has the most yoga studios?

Batu Bolong has the biggest cluster (The Practice, Guan Yin, Joga Yoga, Surf & Yoga Canggu), with a growing second cluster in quieter Pererenan (The Path, Mission Flow). Berawa, Nelayan and Tibubeneng round out the rest.

Which studio is best for beginners?

Samadi and Serenity run welcoming all-levels schedules and community energy, which suits first-timers. Adda and The Practice are excellent too but their signature classes assume some prior practice - check the level before booking.

Do I need to book yoga classes ahead in Canggu?

For the top studios, yes, especially July to September and for popular evening slots. Most take same-day online booking, but the smaller shalas (Guan Yin) have limited spots and fill quickly.

Is this list sponsored?

No. Ranking is editorial and unpaid. The one network partner (Surf & Yoga Canggu) is labeled, and it is ranked on merit rather than floated to the top. Trust is the product.
