The 10 Best Spas and Massages in Sanur: Real Prices from 60k to 1.3m IDR (2026)

How we choose: Sanur is the one district in south Bali where a good hour on the table is still a two-hundred-thousand-rupiah decision, so the ranking is built around published prices with the treatment and the duration attached. Every room below has one. We keep spas and massage places in a single ranking on purpose: in Seminyak and Uluwatu the two markets separate cleanly, but in Sanur the same addresses answer both searches, and splitting them would mean printing the same ten names twice. Instead the list runs across the district's two real tiers - the 60,000 to 325,000 treatment tier along Jl. Danau Tamblingan, and the 897,000 to 1,300,000 resort tier inside the beachfront hotels. Prices come from spas' own price lists where they publish them and from named 2026 Sanur guides otherwise; where sources disagree we show both figures, and anything unpublished stays "n/a". Two Sanur rooms are missing on purpose because they are already ranked island-wide, and they are linked at the bottom. Nobody can buy a place on this list.

Leha Leha Spa

Editor's pick
⭐ rating n/aJl. Sudamala No.560 min from 215k IDRDaily 9am-10pm

The best ratio in Sanur of "proper treatment room" to "price you will book twice in a week". A 60-minute massage starts at 215,000 IDR, which is under the district's mid-tier average of 255,000 to 325,000 and roughly a sixth of the resort hour at the Hyatt a few streets away. The menu is the classic Balinese trio done properly - full-body Balinese, a Balinese borah scrub, a Spirit of Nature facial - and the room runs until 10pm, the widest hours in the mid tier, which matters in a town that eats early and walks the beach path afterwards. It has a live official site, so booking is not a WhatsApp guessing game. That combination, price plus hours plus a real menu plus a contactable business, is why it leads.

215,000 for a full hour, the best mid-tier price in the district Open until 10pm, so an after-dinner slot is realistic Live official site and a published treatment menu Off the main Tamblingan strip, a short walk from most hotels Not a resort setting: this is a treatment house, no pool or steam No star rating we could source with a review count, so "n/a"
02

The Nest Beachside Spa

⭐ rating n/aJl. Kusuma Sari, beach side60 min from 255k IDRDaily 9am-8pm

The one whose menu was clearly written for people who have just spent six hours on a beach. Lymphatic drainage massage, an after-sun cooling body wrap and an oxygen anti-ageing facial, at 255,000 IDR for a 60-minute massage, a few steps from the sand rather than a scooter ride inland. Lymphatic work is genuinely hard to find in Sanur at this price, and the resort rooms further down this page start at 897,000 for a plain hour. There is a second address under the same brand, The Nest Boutique Spa on Jl. Danau Tamblingan, which does not publish prices, so if the number matters, book the beachside room specifically.

255,000 for an hour, walking distance from the beach path Lymphatic drainage and after-sun treatments, not just standard Balinese Live official site with the treatment list Closes at 8pm The sister branch inland publishes no prices, easy to confuse Small room count, weekends book out
03

Glo Day Spa & Salon

⭐ rating n/aJl. Danau Poso No.5760 min from 325k IDRDaily 10am-8pm

Sanur's long-running expat standby, and the answer when the plan is a massage, a haircut and a facial in one visit rather than three appointments in three places. A 60-minute massage starts at 325,000 IDR, the top of the district's treatment tier, and the signature is an ancient warm bamboo massage with a Biokos facial on the beauty side. What you are paying the extra hundred thousand for over Leha Leha is consistency and the salon half of the business: this is a day spa in the literal sense. If you only want an hour of Balinese massage, the rooms above are better value.

Spa and hair or beauty salon in one visit Warm bamboo massage, firmer than standard Balinese Established name with a live site and a stable menu 325,000 is the district's treatment-tier ceiling Closes at 8pm Salon energy rather than a quiet retreat
04

The Beach Spa & Cafe

⭐ rating n/aJl. Kusuma Sari, Mertasari beach60 min from 280k IDRDaily 10am-8pm

The Mertasari end of Sanur, next to the Prama hotel, and the only room in this ten that pairs a treatment with its own cafe and a view of the water. Sixty minutes from 280,000 IDR, with deep tissue on the menu alongside a traditional Bali flower and herb bath and a beach-view reflexology chair, which is the format Sanur does better than the west coast: you finish the hour, you do not immediately fight traffic, you sit down for a drink twenty metres from the sea. No official website that we could verify, so booking is a phone call or a walk-in, and that is the main friction.

280,000 hour with a genuine beachfront setting Flower and herb bath plus deep tissue on one menu Own cafe, so the visit does not end at the door No live official site, book by phone or walk in Mertasari is the far south of Sanur, 10 to 15 minutes from the centre Closes at 8pm
05

The Shampoo Lounge Sanur

⭐ rating n/aJl. Danau Tamblingan No.152C60 min from 300k IDRDaily 9am-7pm

The only room in Sanur we found offering an athletic massage as a named treatment rather than "firm pressure on request", which is the reason it earns a place ahead of cheaper neighbours if you actually train, cycle the coast road or dive several days in a row. Sixty minutes from 300,000 IDR, with a milk and honey aromatic foot spa and hot stone foot reflexology as the softer options, inside a salon-barber-spa hybrid. It is a small island chain - the Seminyak branch appears in our Seminyak spa notes with a 300,000 creambath - so expect competence and consistency rather than a one-off room. Closes at 7pm, the earliest here.

Athletic massage on the menu, rare in this district Hair, barber and spa under one roof Central Tamblingan location, walkable from most hotels Closes at 7pm, no evening bookings Chain format, not a Sanur original 300,000 buys a treatment room, not a spa journey
06

Cosmo Salon & Spa

⭐ rating n/aJl. Danau Tamblingan No.17660 min from 255k IDRDaily 9am-9pm

Same price as The Nest at 255,000 IDR an hour, different reason to book: shiatsu, mandi lulur and Thai foot reflexology, on the main street, open until 9pm. Shiatsu and Thai work are pressure-based rather than oil-based, so this is where to go if the standard Balinese long-stroke massage leaves you feeling untouched. It is a salon and spa together like Glo but seventy thousand cheaper an hour, with the trade-off being a plainer room. For a walk-in on Tamblingan in the evening, this is the most capable option that is not a hotel.

Shiatsu and Thai reflexology, not just oil massage Open until 9pm on the main street 255,000 an hour with a salon attached Plain interior, no spa atmosphere Busy street frontage, not a quiet setting Only the entry price is published, the rest is "n/a"
07

Spa at Maya Sanur

⭐ rating n/aMaya Sanur Resort, Jl. Danau Tamblingan60 min from 897k IDRDaily 10am-8pm

The first step into Sanur's resort tier, and the price jump is not gentle: 897,000 IDR for a 60-minute massage, roughly four hours of Leha Leha. What the number buys is the resort spa experience - the Soothing Maya Massage, a Swiss-Tox body contour, an organic facial, and the quiet of a hotel that has won awards for this room in both Sanur and Ubud. One warning about search results: a user-generated aggregator lists "massages from 100k" here, which is not compatible with the published resort menu, so treat that figure as wrong and confirm the rate when you book.

Award-winning resort spa, sister room in Ubud Proper spa facilities rather than a treatment room Signature massage and body-contour treatments published 897,000 an hour, about four times the district's value tier An aggregator quotes 100,000 here, which does not match the menu Hotel guests get first call on peak slots
08

Shankha Spa at Hyatt Regency Bali

⭐ rating n/aHyatt Regency, Jl. Danau Tamblingan No.8960 min from 1.3m IDRDaily 9am-9pm

The ceiling of the district: 1,300,000 IDR for a 60-minute massage, in one of ten spa villas inside the Hyatt Regency's gardens. The menu is the serious end of the resort format - warm river stone massage, shirodhara, a botanical hair and scalp renewal - and the villas are the reason the number is what it is, since almost nothing else in Sanur offers a private building rather than a curtained room. We rank it eighth not because it is weak but because it is twenty-one times the district's entry price and most people reading this page came to Sanur precisely to avoid that maths. If a spa villa is the point of the day, it is the only real answer here.

Ten private spa villas, unique in Sanur Shirodhara and warm stone work done to resort standard Open until 9pm inside a walkable central location 1,300,000 an hour, the district ceiling Price list published as "from", so the real bill runs higher Resort-guest priority on the best slots

HYU Spa Sanur

⭐ rating n/aJl. Danau Tamblingan No.39 & Jl. Danau Toba No.1590 min about 170k IDRHours n/a

The verified floor of the Sanur market for a full-length session: about 170,000 IDR, roughly 17 US dollars, for ninety minutes, across two addresses a few streets apart. That is less per minute than anything else on this page, and cheaper per minute than any room in our Seminyak ranking, where the floor is 170,000 to 200,000 for a single hour. It is exactly what the price suggests - a simple treatment room, no ceremony, no facilities, therapists working through a busy book - and for a two-week stay that is the difference between one massage and six. Opening hours are not published anywhere we could verify, so call before crossing town.

About 170,000 for ninety minutes, the district's verified floor Two branches, so a slot is usually available Makes a daily massage habit affordable on a long stay Opening hours not published, marked "n/a" Basic room, no spa facilities at all Price sourced from a 2026 guide rather than a published menu

Camelia Spa

⭐ rating n/aJl. Danau Tamblingan No.7830 min foot massage from 60k IDRHours n/a

The cheapest honest entry to Sanur's price list: a 30-minute foot massage from 60,000 IDR, on the main street, with the whole menu reported to stay under 300,000. Thirty minutes on your feet after a day of walking the beach path is a different product from a spa hour, and this is the district's best version of it - no booking, no upsell theatre, walk in off Tamblingan. Two caveats we will not paper over: the hours are not published, and the full menu prices come from a 2026 guide rather than a price list on the wall, so ask what your treatment costs before you lie down.

60,000 for half an hour, the lowest verified price in Sanur Entire menu reported under 300,000 Walk-in on the main street, no booking needed Opening hours not published, marked "n/a" Menu prices from a guide, not a published list Foot and short treatments, not a full spa visit

Pair it with

An hour on the table pairs with an early dinner: the 10 best restaurants in Sanur prices the whole ladder from a 15,000 night-market plate to a Wagyu ceiling. Sanur is also the island's dive logistics hub, and four of the operators in our Bali diving ranking collect from these streets, which makes a 215,000 massage the obvious end to a three-dive morning. For the island view instead of the district view, see the 10 best massages in Bali and the 10 best spas in Bali, and compare neighbourhoods in Seminyak, Canggu, Ubud and Uluwatu. Still choosing a base? Where to stay in Bali first time and is Bali expensive both use numbers like these.

Already ranked island-wide, and other Sanur rooms

The two we deliberately left out. Koa Shala on Jl. Danau Tamblingan No.77A, the palm-garden shala that pairs yoga with unusual treatments, is already number ten in the island spa ranking - and it comes with a live price conflict worth knowing: our island page has a 90-minute treatment at 370,000 while the 2026 Sanur spa guide lists 90 minutes from 420,000, so confirm the current rate. Bali Orchid Spa, on the Sanur and Denpasar boundary, with free hotel transfers from Nusa Dua, Jimbaran, Kuta, Seminyak and Sanur, packages around 400,000 and doors open until 11pm, is number eight in the island massage ranking. Both are in Sanur, both are good; we link them rather than print them twice.

More Sanur rooms with published prices. Emma Spa on Jl. Danau Tamblingan No.66 does an hour of foot reflexology at 140,000. HiSUGARS on Jl. Danau Tandakan No.4 is a body-sugaring specialist rather than a massage house, with a 30-minute massage at 300,000. Taru Pramana at The Meru quotes its Balinese Apun massage at about 85 US dollars for 60 minutes and 100 for 90, priced in dollars by the hotel itself. A massage on the sand along the beach path runs about 100,000 for an hour, which is the cheapest hour in Sanur and the least predictable.

Cheap but only aggregator-priced. Carla Spa on Jl. Danau Tamblingan No.198 at 160,000 an hour, UR Spa at No.121 at around 100,000, and a room called Good Massage at 170,000 an hour all come from user-generated aggregators rather than the businesses, so we flag them as unverified instead of ranking them. Known but unpriced: The Faces, Sanctuary Bali Spa, Chantara Wellness, Kaiia Spa, Svaha Spa, Sari Day Spa, Koa Boutique Spa and The Nest Boutique Spa publish nothing, so they stay "n/a".

Frequently asked

How much is a massage in Sanur?

The verified ladder runs from 60,000 to 1,300,000 IDR. Entry tier: Camelia 60,000 for thirty minutes on the feet, HYU about 170,000 for ninety minutes, beach-path massage around 100,000 an hour. Value tier: Leha Leha 215,000 an hour, The Nest Beachside and Cosmo 255,000, The Beach Spa 280,000. Upper treatment tier: The Shampoo Lounge 300,000, Glo Day Spa 325,000. Resort tier: Spa at Maya 897,000, Shankha Spa at the Hyatt 1,300,000. Guides put the district average for a mid-range hour at 200,000 to 400,000, which our numbers confirm.

Is Sanur cheaper than Seminyak or Uluwatu for spas?

Yes at the bottom and in the middle, and it is the main practical reason to book a treatment here. Sanur's verified floor for a full ninety minutes is about 170,000 and a good hour is 215,000 to 280,000. In Seminyak the floor is 170,000 for sixty minutes and the mid tier sits at 310,000 to 450,000; in Uluwatu the massage floor is 160,000 to 310,000 with a resort ceiling near 3,000,000. Sanur's ceiling, 1,300,000 at the Hyatt, is also lower than either. In short: the middle of the market is cheaper and the top of the market is less extreme.

Do Sanur spas stay open late?

Some do, but this is an early town. Leha Leha runs to 10pm, Cosmo and Shankha to 9pm, Glo, The Nest Beachside and The Beach Spa to 8pm, and The Shampoo Lounge closes at 7pm. Bali Orchid Spa, which we rank island-wide instead, is open until 11pm. HYU and Camelia do not publish their hours at all, so call first. If you want a treatment after 9pm, book ahead rather than walking the strip.

Where can I get a massage on the beach in Sanur?

Two ways. Informally, therapists work the beach path itself at about 100,000 for an hour, with no room, no menu and no guarantee of who turns up. Formally, The Beach Spa & Cafe at Mertasari beach is the beachfront room in this ranking at 280,000 for an hour, with a flower and herb bath on the menu and its own cafe, and The Nest Beachside Spa is a few steps from the sand at 255,000.

Which Sanur spa is best value?

Leha Leha at 215,000 for a full hour, if you want a real treatment room with published prices and evening hours. HYU at about 170,000 for ninety minutes if the only question is price per minute. Camelia at 60,000 for a thirty-minute foot massage if you want the cheapest useful thing in the district. At the top end, Spa at Maya is the better-value resort room at 897,000 against 1,300,000 at the Hyatt, though neither is value in the sense the first three are.

Is this Sanur spa ranking sponsored?

No. No spa can buy a place and we take no commission. Prices come from spas' own price lists where published and from named 2026 Sanur guides otherwise, with the treatment and duration attached to every number. Where two sources disagree, such as Koa Shala at 370,000 against 420,000, we print both. Star ratings are marked "n/a" because we could not source a rating together with a review count for these rooms, and unpublished hours are marked "n/a" rather than guessed.
