How we choose: we took the gyms Google Maps returned for our search within about 30 km of central Florianopolis, kept those rated 4.4 or higher with at least 40 reviews and still open, one per brand, and ordered them by a review-weighted score. Two branches of Pratique Fitness made the list because Google files them under different names; prices come from Pratique's own unit pages. We built the list from Google ratings, reviews and the places' own sites, not from visits, and no place paid to be listed.
Each category is its own list. Choosing another one opens that list.
The lowest price each place publishes on its own website; the three bands are cut from this list.
runfitnessclub.com.brA gym on Rua Conego Bernardo in Trindade whose site says it has run for 11 years and offers group classes and Pilates. It offers a free trial class.

IllustrationThe Ingleses branch of Pratique Fitness. Reviewers mention two floors of cardio and free weights, good air conditioning and reasonable day-pass rates.
IllustrationA neighbourhood gym on Servidao Maiorca in Ingleses Norte, open until 11 pm. Its only online presence is a Facebook page.
academiacfc.com.brCFC Campeche, about five minutes from Novo Campeche per its site, with more than 12 included class types such as yoga flow, functional, Muay Thai and Pilates. Reviewers mention free weights and friendly staff.
Last verified: ratings, review counts and open status were read from Google Maps on 20 Oct 2026. Ranking rule: rating 4.4 or higher with at least 40 reviews, one branch per brand, ordered by a weighted score that pulls small review counts toward the average, so a 5.0 from 15 reviews cannot beat a 4.8 from 900. No. The ranking is editorial and unpaid: Google rating and review count under a published rule, nothing else.
