How much is a gym day pass in Bali?
The day-pass table from our rankings
These are the published day-pass prices of the gyms on our island-wide gym ranking and the Canggu list. "++" means tax and service on top; "n/a" means the gym does not publish the number and we did not guess it.

| Body Factory Bali (Berawa) | 350k | Indoor-outdoor floor, boxing, pool, sauna, 4-5 C ice bath | n/a |

| RITE (Pererenan) | 500k | Studios, pool, cold plunge, sauna, jacuzzi, steam | n/a |
Twelve priced gyms: range 100,000-500,000, median about 325,000 IDR for a weekday. Recovery (sauna plus ice bath) is included in the ticket at nine of them, which is the single biggest difference from a day pass at home.

Why the spread is 5x, and what the ticket actually buys
A 100,000 and a 500,000 day pass in Bali are not the same product with a markup. The cheap tickets buy a training floor; the expensive ones buy a campus. Body Factory's 350,000 covers boxing, a pool and an ice bath cold enough to matter (4-5 C); RITE's 500,000 is closer to a spa day with a world-class floor attached. TOPGYM's 400,000++ weekday rate is Canggu's benchmark because it is 900 square metres of Technogym with a rooftop and two ice baths, and because 850 Google reviews make it the most verified gym on the island.
So read the price against the recovery line in our table. If you train and leave, the 150,000-275,000 tier (Bali Fitness, Wellness Gym, RAW, Ubud.Fitness) is the honest buy. If a sauna and a plunge after the session are the reason you are going at all, the 300,000-400,000 tier includes them, and a separate recovery session at a Canggu bathhouse would cost you that much on its own.
Prices by area
- Canggu and Pererenan: the widest range on the island, 150,000 (Wellness Gym) to 500,000 (RITE), with TOPGYM at 400,000++ and Body Factory at 350,000 as the two serious campuses. Weekend rates drop at TOPGYM (from 200,000++).
- Uluwatu and the Bukit: 300,000-400,000. Ulu Active at 400,000 opens the whole recovery lot; Bambu in Bingin sells a 300,000 drop-in (250,000 for open gym only) and publishes monthly rates of 2.0-2.35 million, the highest on our list.
- Ubud: 275,000-310,000. Titi Batu is the full club (pool, squash, spa) at 310,000; Ubud.Fitness is the training-first box at 275,000.
- Seminyak: 150,000-325,000. Bali Fitness is the value ticket with real classes; Soham is the wellness-club hybrid.
- Kuta and Legian: 100,000 at The Flash Gym, recovery included. Nobody's training destination, which is exactly why the airport-day workout is cheap.
Day pass, week or month: where the break-even sits
Monthly passes at the gyms that publish them run from 700,000 (Bali Fitness Seminyak) through 1.2-1.85 million (Ubud.Fitness) and 1.46 million (Titi Batu) to 2.0-2.35 million (Bambu). Against day passes at the same gyms, a month pays for itself from roughly the fifth to the seventh visit: 700,000 divided by 150,000 is under five sessions at Bali Fitness; 1.46 million divided by 310,000 is under five at Titi Batu; Bambu's 2.35 million against a 300,000 drop-in is eight.
The practical reading for a two-week trip: buy day passes for the first two or three sessions, decide which gym you actually return to, then ask that desk for a week or a 10-visit card. Most gyms sell one even when the website does not list it, and the website is usually the worse source. For a 30-day or 60-day stay, a month at the gym you like is the obvious buy, and we did the longer arithmetic in how long you can stay in Bali.
Not for
If you lift heavy and want a quiet platform, skip the 300,000-500,000 campuses at 5pm: their draw is the recovery wing and the social floor, and the squat racks are the queue. Ubud.Fitness and Bambu are the two on our list built around numbers rather than atmosphere. If you want classes rather than a floor, only Bali Fitness (Les Mills), Ubud.Fitness (CrossFit, mobility, yoga) and Soham (spin, Zumba) include them in the day pass; at the others a class is a separate ticket or not offered. And if you are on a budget below 200,000 a day and outside Kuta or Seminyak, the honest answer is that a Canggu or Uluwatu day pass will cost more than your meals.
What to check before you pay
Three things change the bill. Tax: a "++" price (TOPGYM) adds government tax and service, so budget 13-21 percent on top. Weekday versus weekend: TOPGYM publishes a lower weekend rate; others do not distinguish. What "day" means: a day pass is usually a single entry, not 24 hours; leaving for lunch and coming back is at the desk's discretion. Bring a towel where the ticket does not include one, and ID; several gyms register visitors.
Prices on this page are the gyms' published rates as we ranked them and re-read on 17 October 2026. Where a gym publishes no price we write n/a rather than an estimate; if you paid a different number at the desk, the Ask box below reaches us and we correct the card.
