The 10 Best Gyms in Bali (2026): Day Passes & Prices

How we choose: we train on the west coast ourselves and verified the rest through published price lists and 2026 guides. The thing nobody else does is the day-pass table below - visiting lifters pay by the day, and most listicles hide the number. Every price has a source; where a gym does not publish one, we write "н/д" instead of guessing. Gyms cannot buy a spot.

Sorted by our ranking below. "Recovery in pass" = sauna, ice bath or plunge included in the day ticket.

Editor's pick
⭐ rating н/дCanggu · Berawa (Jl. Nelayan)Day pass 350k IDR (gym + recovery)

The most complete fitness campus on the island, and the pick by the island-wide logic: one 350k ticket covers a serious indoor-outdoor training floor, boxing, a pool, and an elite recovery wing with a large sauna and a genuinely cold 4-5°C ice bath - then a cafe to put the day back in. Nowhere else does one day pass buy the whole athletic day at this level.

One ticket = elite gym + full recovery circuit + pool Ice bath held at a real 4-5°C, not a lukewarm plunge 350k is premium if you only want to lift Berawa location; busy at peak expat hours

TOPGYM

4.8 (850 Google reviews)Canggu · Batu BolongDay pass 150k IDR (see price note)

Canggu's value benchmark and the winner of our street-level Canggu ranking: 900 square metres of Technogym, a rooftop, a panoramic sauna and two ice baths, with the biggest verified review base of any gym on the island. One aggregator lists a higher weekday rate, so confirm the pass price when you walk in - even at more, the hardware justifies it.

RITE

⭐ rating н/дPererenanDay pass 500k IDR

The luxury ceiling of Bali's gym scene: a design-led club in Pererenan with multiple studios, a pool, cold plunge, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room. At 500k a day it is priced like a spa day that happens to include a world-class training floor - which, for its members, is exactly the point.

Best-appointed club on the island: pool, plunge, steam, studios Pererenan location away from the Batu Bolong crush 500k day pass - the most expensive verified ticket here More club than gym: lifters may prefer rawer floors

Ulu Active

⭐ rating н/дUluwatu · PecatuDay pass 400k IDR

The Bukit's recovery flagship: a modern floor plus a dedicated stretching studio, and a day pass that opens the whole back lot - infrared and traditional saunas, steam room, ice baths and a meditation temple. Between surf sessions this is the most complete single ticket south of Canggu.

Two saunas, steam, ice baths and stretching studio in one pass Strong class calendar including surf-specific conditioning 400k is Canggu-tier pricing on the Bukit Pecatu location needs a scooter from Bingin/Uluwatu beaches

Bambu Fitness Bali

⭐ rating н/дUluwatu · BinginDay pass н/д · month 1,800-2,100k IDR

The gym the Bingin crowd actually trains at: Olympic lifting platforms, a bodybuilding room, HYROX classes, plus a pool, ice baths, sauna and a healthy cafe. It does not publish a day-pass price - ask at the desk - but the monthly rates are sourced, and by local consensus this is the Bukit's most popular serious floor.

Titi Batu Ubud Club

⭐ rating н/дUbud · Kumbuh MasDay pass 310k IDR

Ubud's full-service club: a 25-metre lap pool, squash court, fitness studio, even a skate park, with steam, sauna, cold plunge and a spa behind the training floor. For a town known for yoga rather than iron, this is the one address where a 310k ticket covers a complete athletic day.

Only true multi-sport club in Ubud: pool, squash, skate, gym Steam, sauna and cold plunge included in the pass A ride out of central Ubud Club atmosphere: quieter floor, fewer heavy lifters

Ubud.Fitness

⭐ rating н/дUbudDay pass 275k IDR

The training-first answer in Ubud: a CrossFit box with cardio, free weights, mobility and yoga classes and a cafe, run for people who actually chase numbers. No recovery circuit - this one is about the work, and it is the best place in town to do it.

Proper programming: CrossFit, strength, mobility under coaches Cafe on site; easy to combine with an Ubud morning No sauna or ice bath in the ticket 275k is steep for a no-recovery pass

Soham Wellness Center

⭐ rating н/дSeminyak · PetitengetDay pass 325k IDR

Seminyak's wellness-club hybrid: pool, spin and Zumba studios, an Ayurvedic spa, steam, sauna and hot and cold plunges around the gym floor. The right ticket if your Seminyak day mixes a workout with actual leisure rather than a two-hour lifting block.

Full contrast circuit plus pool in a 325k pass Classes and spa under the same roof Training floor is the supporting act, not the star Petitenget traffic at rush hours

Bali Fitness Seminyak

⭐ rating н/дSeminyak · Sunset RoadDay pass 150k IDR · month from 700k IDR

The sensible mid-market ticket in Seminyak: a 150k day pass with Les Mills group classes (BodyCombat, BodyPump, RPM spin), TRX and yoga included. Nothing boutique about it, and that is the appeal - predictable equipment, real classes, half the price of the wellness clubs.

Les Mills classes included at a 150k pass Cheapest verified monthly rate on this list (from 700k) No recovery facilities Sunset Road location is functional, not scenic

The Flash Gym Bali

⭐ rating н/дKutaDay pass 100k IDR

The value shock of this list: a 100k day pass in Kuta that includes a complete recovery area - jacuzzi, ice bath and sauna - plus a pool, cafe and boxing classes. Kuta is nobody's training destination, which is exactly why the airport-day workout with a plunge afterwards costs a third of the Canggu equivalent here.

❄️ Recovery after training

Half the gyms above sell you the sauna and the ice bath in the same ticket - but if recovery is the main event, we tested Canggu's dedicated ice bath and sauna scene in person, with prices and temperatures: the 10 best recovery spots in Canggu.

Gravity Stretching our studio - therapeutic assisted stretching and spinal decompression in hanging straps, in Canggu (Padonan). Heavy training shortens muscles; a guided stretch gives the range back and is the cheapest injury insurance a lifter can buy. We put our studio here, in a labeled block, and deliberately kept it out of the ranking above - because it is ours, and the ranking is the one thing we will not put our own thumb on.

Frequently asked

How much is a gym day pass in Bali?

Verified prices run from 75k IDR (Point One Fitness, Jimbaran) and 100k (The Flash Gym, Kuta) through the 150-350k mid-market (TOPGYM, Bali Fitness, Ubud.Fitness, Titi Batu, Soham, Body Factory) up to 500k at RITE and 592.9k++ at Nirvana Life. The pattern: the more recovery in the ticket (sauna, ice bath, pool), the higher the price. Many gyms do not publish day-pass prices - we mark those "н/д" rather than guess.

Which Bali gyms include sauna and ice bath in the day pass?

Body Factory Bali (350k, sauna + 4-5°C ice bath), TOPGYM (panoramic sauna + two ice baths), RITE (500k, full circuit), Ulu Active (400k, two saunas + steam + ice baths), Titi Batu in Ubud (310k), Soham in Seminyak (325k) and The Flash Gym in Kuta - remarkably - at 100k.

What is the cheapest way to train in Bali?

Two tricks. First, location: Kuta and Jimbaran passes (100k, 75k) cost a third of Canggu boutique prices. Second, timing: some Seminyak-area gyms sell midday passes (12:00-16:00) at half rate - Louis & Friends drops to 50k and WEFITNESS to 75k. For stays over a couple of weeks, monthly rates (from 700k at Bali Fitness) beat any day-pass math.

Which area of Bali is best for training?

Canggu and Pererenan have the deepest bench (Body Factory, TOPGYM, RITE and the whole scene in our Canggu guide). The Bukit is strongest for training around surf (Ulu Active, Bambu). Ubud has two solid but different options (Titi Batu club, Ubud.Fitness box). Seminyak covers the mid-market. Sanur is the honest gap: we found no gym there with a published day pass worth ranking.

Is this list sponsored?

No. Placement is never paid and no gym on this page has a commercial relationship with us. Our own studio, Gravity Stretching, appears only in a labeled block outside the ranking. Prices we could not verify are marked "н/д" rather than invented.
