What the site earns from it. No paid placement, ever. Where a card shows a Book button, that venue is a booking partner, is labelled as such, and pays us a commission only on completed bookings made through the button. The ranking itself cannot be bought and does not change for partners. The only thing you can give back is a return visit.

This list might not be for you if:

you are staying in Uluwatu, Jimbaran or Nusa Dua: the ten are in Ubud, Canggu, Pererenan, Sanur and Seminyak
you only need Seminyak: it has its own cafe list with coffee prices where cafes publish them
